Will my customer need to provide Proof of Identity for every transaction?

Proof of Identity is only required on the first transaction

No, each payer will only be required to provide Proof of Identity on the first transaction.

After your customer has successfully verified their Proof of Identity, they will not be asked to verify their identity on subsequent transactions as long as the provided document is still valid.
